HOSB Physicians Report 2012
Take a look into the new digital future
YouGov offers unique insight into digital developments within the primary and secondary sector
Introduction
The Internet has created a revolution in making information and knowledge available and we are moving towards a culture where the Internet plays a major role in sharing knowledge and searching for information.

YouGov offers unique insight into digital developments within the primary and secondary sector.
The Internet and the adoption of new technologies are therefore providing new channels for conversation. The interest in online social media has increased significantly within recent years and people are becoming more confident in using social media in their private life, but also professionally. At the same time, new technologies continue to emerge and the use of devices such as smartphones is now making it even easier to access information and knowledge via the Internet. To succeed, you need to be aware of the potential opportunities and threats of the Internet and these new technologies.
You will be able to gain a better understanding of them and the way physicians adopt new technologies such as smartphones and use the Internet in their professional work from YouGov’s new report entitled Health Online Search Behaviour (HOSB) Physicians 2012. In many ways, this report ‘completes the picture’ together with our previous report (HOSB 2010 among patients).
You will find more information about this in the section ’key survey areas’.
